My name is Maggie Shaw, and I am a Masters student at Georgetown University. I expect to graduate in December 2022 with Masters in International, Global, and Comparative History. At Samford University I pursued a double major in education and history with a concentration in social studies and graduated in 2021. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, am a published author and artist, and recently visited my 24th country. At my core I am a passionate educator who wishes to guide the future citizens of our nation to develop cultural empathy, to utilize analytical thinking, and to foster a true love for learning that they will carry with them for a lifetime of personal growth.

This electronic portfolio holds my resume, teaching philosophies, artifacts, projects, and classroom experiences. As a whole, this website showcases the experience, educational skills, and tools that I have gained during my time at Samford University and Georgetown University while I carefully cultivated skills as a future educator.
